Game is a all time favorite amongst the young generation. To them, it's like, "Who doesn't love games!". To tell the truth, games are a great source of entertainment.  Consequently, for the last two decades , a revolutionary change in gaming sector has become prominent. And this happened when games met the internet. As internet allows a user to interact with literally anyone despite their distance, race or any other difference, the popularity of online games spread like fire.

However, that much of fame made the gaming companies think ," Why don't we charge the players under the disguise of  providing special attributes in the game?" And that's when the term called  " in game purchase" was first introduced. Though these in game purchases are completely unnecessary but the gamers already took the bait. The offers are so bewitching that kids couldn't but spend their money not in a manner they were supposed to.

A Great Source of Entertainment : 

Online games are undoubtedly an amazing source of entertainment. Games are full of challenges , adventure, thrill and lots of new friends. Altogether , they provide a decent level of gaming experience . No wonder why the young generation is so much occupied with gaming. New stages , missions, gradual progression, different difficulties and many more. They almost feel like a whole new world beside ours.

Real life gaming experience :

The graphics and visual effects of  online games have gotten so much better that many games almost feel like real. The character designs and the surroundings have become so realistic that sometimes it's hard tell any difference at all. In fact, sometimes the games feel more realistic than real world. Numerous customization options, various attachments and equipments etc. gives another level of of vibe.

Wastage of time :

Sometimes players lose their sense of time because of the magic of online games. They get so much attached to playing games that they forget the fact that games are just a source of  entertainment. There are plenty of other tasks for him to do. Specially, the students get greatly affected by it. Because they don't spend their time wisely while playing games. In fact, they reduce their study time to play more and more games. Metaphorically, it's kind of an embezzlement as people don't utilize their invaluable time for the purpose they are supposed to while playing games.

Wastage of money :
 
The games released in the last decade are vividly the best games the world has ever seen and the costliest of all time as well. The games are made that way that it gradually leads its players towards in game purchases. By buying special offers, the players receive extra facilities that gives them an advantage over free to play players. As a result, the rest of the players face a sole disadvantage and lose frequently. So, to avoid this they are indirectly forced to spend money on this games as well. Thus, they metaphorically embezzle their money by using their money on wrong purpose.

Conclusion :

Despite being a great source of entertainment, games can be an extreme reason behind one's  demise. But that completely depends on the player. If a player's playing games for solely entertainment , then that's perfectly fine. But if he/she is wasting his/her time and money recklessly , then it's only matter of time that the player realizes it's too late to recover.
